it’s free!
yep. the goal here is to get likeminded folks together. that said, we are ad-supported. we’re keeping the advertising on the blogs to a minimum. we don’t want it to be intrusive, but we have to pay for our monthly server costs somehow. signing up doesn’t take long and requires a valid email address to keep spam-bots away! (we hate you spammers!). once you’re up and running, posts are as easy as typing a document in notepad or your favorite word processor. you have an unlimited amount of posts and pages you can use. so, really, what are you waiting for?

import from other blogs
you got a bunch of data on some other blog, but want to join in on the fun here at littlehellraiser? no worries! you can import your blogs from: blogger, blogware, dotclear, greymatter, livejournal, movabletype, typepad, textpattern and wordpress… then again, if that’s too much hassle, if you email us, we’ll walk you through the process.

privacy options
you can be as public as you like with your blog! if you want to be visible to the world, no problem. want to stay super-secret and private? it’s all fine and good. you can restrict privacy via the following:
-visible to anyone who visits (search engines, archivers and public listings around the site)
-block search engines, but allow normal visitors.
-only be visible to registered users from the littlehellraiser community.
-only be visible to registered subscribers of your blog
-only be visible to the admins — at which point i’m going to call you too paranoid and secretive, but that’s up to you.

flickr gallery
what’s a baby blog without a photo album? for those of you that use flickr, we integrate it right into your blog. as you post images to flickr, they can show up on your blog’s photo gallery! this way the grandparents, friends and family can keep up with you and your little hellraiser in one spot! you can also post your flickr images straight into your blog posts with just a click (or two). easy.

forums w/likeminded folks
stop by our forums and chat with other bloggers in one central spot. review online stores, ask questions, give answers. our goal with all of this is to get folks talking to one another. share stories (funny or otherwise), swap parent hacks or just introduce yourself.

widgets / themes
use themes to customize your blog to your liking. tweak your sidebar with various widgets. use widgetbox to bring super-custom widgets to your site — everything from meebo to a countdown timer.

rss feeds
keep your friends and family up to speed with a rss feed! whenever you update your blog, they can be notified.

instant updating
no hassling with html, ftp servers, etc. just post, click publish and let the world see! updates are instant.
